We will review and honor your objection unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing, or it is necessary for legal reasons.

This right applies only to data processed by automated means and where the processing is based on your consent, a contract, or pre-contractual obligations.
Please be aware that certain requests may be subject to exceptions, and we may need to retain some information to comply with legal obligations or to protect our legitimate interests, including the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
6.2 Region-Specific Notices
In certain cases, or as mandated by law, we may be required to provide additional or different disclosures regarding the processing of personal data for residents of specific countries, regions, or states. Disclosures for residents of Europe, the United Kingdom, the USA, and Canada are provided below.
Europe and United Kingdom Notice
This Europe and United Kingdom Notice offers additional information for users located in the EEA, Switzerland, and the UK. Unless specified otherwise in this Europe and United Kingdom Notice, all other terms and principles outlined in this Policy remain applicable.
Users in the EEA, Switzerland, and the UK have certain privacy rights under applicable laws, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Article 13 of the Swiss Constitution, the Federal Act on Data Protection (DPA), and the UK Data Protection Act 2018. The Notice and the privacy controls we offer to all users are designed to comply with these laws. As a resident of the EEA, Switzerland, and the UK, you also have specific rights concerning your personal data. You may exercise any of these rights by contacting us through the details provided in the Contact Us section of this Policy.

Rectification: We strive to keep your personal data accurate and complete. We encourage you to inform us of any changes that should be reflected in our records. You have the right to request the correction of inaccurate personal data and, considering the purposes of the processing, to complete your personal data.
Restriction: You have the right to request a restriction on the processing of your data, provided the legal conditions for restriction are met. This includes situations where you have objected to the processing, and we are verifying whether our legitimate grounds override yours.
Data Portability: Subject to further legal requirements, you have the right to request that your personal data be provided to you or, where technically feasible, be transferred to another service provider if you wish to stop using our Services. This data will be provided in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

Automated Decision-Making: You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects on you or similarly significantly affects you, provided the legal requirements are fulfilled.
For France: Additionally, if you are a resident of France, you have the right to provide instructions regarding the retention, deletion, and communication of your personal data after your death, as outlined in Article 85 of the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés).

The specific legal requirements for exercising these rights depend on the applicable data protection laws. For your protection, we will only fulfill requests for personal data associated with the email address identified in your request, and we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
6.3 Storage and Usage of Your Personal Information and Opt-out options for processing Your Personal Information
You are able to access, add to, update and delete certain Personal Information about you. The information you can view, update, and delete may change as the Website or Services change. When you update information, however, we may maintain a copy of the original unrevised information in our records. Some information may remain in our private records after your deletion of such information from your account. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We may use any aggregated data derived from or incorporating your Personal Information after you update or delete it, but not in a manner that would identify you personally. Once the retention period expires, Personal Information shall be deleted. Therefore, the right to access, the right to erasure, the right to rectification and the right to data portability cannot be enforced after the expiration of the retention period.
Where Personal Information is processed for the public interest, in the exercise of an official authority vested in us or for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by us, you may object to such processing by providing a ground related to your particular situation to justify the objection. Should your Personal Information be processed for direct marketing purposes, you can object to that processing at any time without providing any justification.
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to enhance your browsing experience, analyze site traffic, and personalize content and advertisements. Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help us remember your preferences, track your interactions with our site, and deliver a better overall service.
You have the option to manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features on our website and your overall user experience.
In addition to using cookies and related technologies as described above, we also may permit certain third-party companies to help us tailor advertising that we think may be of interest to users and to collect and use other data about user activities on the Website. These companies may deliver ads that might also place cookies and otherwise track user behavior.
If you would prefer to not receive personalized ads based on your browser or device usage, you may generally express your opt-out preference to no longer receive tailored advertisements. Please note that you will continue to see advertisements, but they will no longer be tailored to your interests.
To opt-out of interest-based advertising by participating companies in the following consumer choice mechanisms, please visit:
1) Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA)’s self-regulatory opt-out page (http:// optout.aboutads.info/) and mobile application-based "AppChoices" download page (https://youradchoices.com/appchoices).
2) European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliiance (EDAA)'s consumer opt-out page (http://youronlinechoices.eu).
3) Network Advertising Initiative (NAI)’s self-regulatory opt-out page (http://optout.networkadvertising.org/).
In the mobile environment, most mobile operating systems offer device-based opt-out choices that are transmitted to companies providing interest-based advertising. To set an opt-out preference for a mobile device identifier (such as Apple's IDFA or Android's GAID), visit the device manufacturer's current choice instructions pages, or read more about sending signals to limit ad tracking for your operating system here:
http:// www.networkadvertising.org/mobile-choices.
Please note that these settings must be performed on each device (including each web browser on each device) for which you wish to opt-out, and if you clear your cookies or if you use a different browser or device, you will need to renew your opt-out preferences.
Some browsers incorporate a Do Not Track feature that signals to websites you visit that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. Tracking is not the same as using or collecting information in connection with a website. For these purposes, tracking refers to collecting personally identifiable information from consumers who use or visit a website or online service as they move across different websites over time. Our Website does not track its visitors over time and across third party websites. However, some third party sites may keep track of your browsing activities when they serve you content, which enables them to tailor what they present to you.

When we do, we will post a notice on the Website and/or send you an email.
9.3 Fraud Prevention and automated decision-making
We utilize automated anti-fraud heuristics and machine learning to detect and prevent fraudulent behavior and to avoid misuse of our Services, including combating bots and synthetic users. The information processed for this purpose may include in-app behavior modeling and user device characteristics, among others. This processing is necessary to secure our Services and prevent misuse of the loyalty program. Without this activity, we would not be able to provide the GeeMee loyalty program and rewards.
Furthermore, we may process your biometric data using facial scan technology to prevent fraudulent, synthetic, or illegitimate users from misusing the GeeMee loyalty rewards program to wrongfully acquire rewards. Such processing is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our Services and ensuring we can continue to provide them to you. Therefore, if you do not provide your consent for the processing of biometric data, we may not be able to offer you such Services. You may opt to receive alternative services from GeeMee without the loyalty rewards program by signing up for the GeeMee game discovery email newsletter.
If fraudulent or synthetic behavior is detected, we will remove or block the account.
